 🌟 CTE Weekly Highlights

👋 As the semester continues to take shape, the past week was filled with important conversations and collaboration that help set direction for our work moving forward. From statewide engagement to internal planning, these efforts support strong, sustainable CTE programs for our students.

🔍 Weekly Reflection

Last week focused heavily on planning, alignment, and stewardship. Paula joined the PESB Standards Approval and Review Board, strengthening our connection to statewide educator preparation and standards work. At the same time, early budget conversations for 2026–2027 began, allowing us to think strategically about priorities and long-term needs.

Chelsea continued mid-year audits, helping ensure our programs remain compliant and well-positioned for the remainder of the year. We also spent time determining capacity for large purchase requests, balancing instructional needs with fiscal responsibility.

Rounding out the week was the Regional CTE Directors Meeting, which provided valuable space for collaboration, shared problem-solving, and continued alignment across districts.

📅 Coming This Week

  • Mid-year and future planning meetings with high school administrators

  • Building visits
  • TILT meeting focused on budgets and staffing allocations

  • New Market Administrative Council meetings

🌱 Looking Ahead

Thank you to everyone who contributed time, insight, and thoughtful questions throughout the week. These behind-the-scenes efforts are critical to maintaining high-quality CTE opportunities for students.

Wishing you a great week ahead as we continue building momentum and supporting strong programs across our region.
