Credit Card Collection

Hello CTE Team, I hope you all had a restful long weekend! That extra day on Friday created a welcome four-day weekend. I was fortunate to get to see some family, and the weather was just my kind of perfect. I hope everyone was able to take a moment to honor the fallen heroes in their own lives. 🔹 Highlights from Last Week 📝 CTE End of Year Report:   Paula completed all required sections of the CTE End of Year Report for Perkins Accountability and the OSD Board.   ➡️ Friendly reminder: Every high school CTE teacher must complete the IRC, WBL, and DC spreadsheet as part of the end-of-year reporting process. Thank you in advance for your collaboration! 🔹 Looking Ahead: This Week’s Events 📝 CLNA:  The CTE Office, in partnership with surrounding districts, will begin updating the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) —a critical step for maintaining Perkins funding. CTE Weekly Update: Wrapping Up the Year Strong

  H ello CTE Team, We’re in the home stretch of the school year, and CTE is going strong! While most CTSO events have concluded, we’re still moving full speed ahead with field trips, student recognitions, and planning for the future. 🔹 Highlights from Last Week 🎨 Student Art Achievements:  A huge congratulations to several students from our Art programs who were honored at the Superintendent’s High School Art Show on May 14 . Their creativity and dedication were truly on display at this annual celebration! 🛠️ Trades Field Trip:  On May 16 , students in our Trades programs participated in Pierce County Construction Career Day at the Washington State Fairgrounds.   Hello CTE Team, Here it is, mid-May! I love this time of year—longer days and more sunshine always lift my spirits. I hope you’re finding something this spring that brings you renewed energy as well. 🔹 Highlights from Last Week 💻 Qmlative Student Migration Training Chelsea and I spent May 5 at ESD113 in training for our upcoming transition to Q . While there’s more to learn, it was great to preview the administrative side of the new system. Your Technology TOSAs will ensure you have multiple training opportunities for the Educator Access side in the coming months. 📘 Four-Year Plans Thank you to everyone who has submitted your Four-Year Plans ! Happy Teacher Appreciation

  Hello CTE Team, It has been a busy few weeks in CTE! With spring comes CTSO events, field trips, career research, and post-secondary planning. I hope you're all feeling the energy of the season. This week, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the incredible work you do each day for your students and schools. Great teachers shape the future, and we are truly fortunate in OSD to have so many exceptional educators among us. 🔹 Updates from Last Week Field Trips – I had the pleasure of spending time with students in our Construction Trades program as they toured active build sites. I also supported Try a Trade day at New Market Skills Center.
