🌟 CTE Weekly Highlights

✨ Looking Back

🧩 Last week included multiple building visits, articulation follow-ups, and discussions about events and advisory updates. 

🎓 Dual Credit & Articulation Follow-Up – We continued connecting with colleges on verification forms and expanding Opportunities for our students.

💰 Paula wrapped up several outstanding grant items for End of Year reporting and update on Perkinds indicators, where we were short of the state targets, primarily due to incomplete reporting.

🌱 The CTE office chaperoned a field trip with our ECE Program to the Freedom Farm.

📅 Coming Up This Week


🏗️ Middle-Level Expansion Planning – The team continues working with teachers on 4–8th-grade manufacturing and exploration activities for early CTE exposure.

💬 National Career Cluster Alignment - The CTE office will be partnering with OSPI and other stakeholders to identify how the National Career Cluster adoption will affect Washington state, and specifically CTE in OSD.

  🌟 CTE Weekly Highlights 🌟 👋  With winter break now behind us, we’re moving quickly toward the close of Semester 1 and continuing the important work of ensuring our students are on track to pass courses, graduate, and grow into the incredible young people they are becoming. This stretch of the year can feel heavy, so I hope you’re finding small moments to rest, recharge, and take care of yourselves as you keep showing up for kids.
