🌟 A Quick Reminder About Donations & Gifts

A friendly reminder to please keep in mind Board Policy 6114 and Procedure 6114P when it comes to donations, gifts, and grants. We want to ensure that we’re all following the board’s guidance so that everything runs smoothly.

Key things to remember:

  • 📋 All donations and gifts, regardless of the amount, require the Gift and Donation Form.

  • 💡 For any donation, gift, or grant over $1,000, please submit both:

    • 📝 The Gift and Donation Form

    • 📊 The Fiscal Impact Statement

🎉 Highlights from Last Week

🌱 First Days of School – I hope you all had an excellent first week of school and were able to take some time to establish protocols and begin getting to know your students.

📆 This Week’s Events

🚀 Fourth Day Count – On the fourth school day of the year, we collect class roster counts to report to OSPI for September funding. After September, this count happens on the first school day of each month.

This year, with the transition to Qmalitve, your CTE Office staff will be completing September reporting manually. Please plan for us to be extra busy with this work on Tuesday, since we’ll have a very short window between receiving building counts on Monday and submitting final numbers to OSPI. Thanks in advance for your patience!

  🌟 CTE Weekly Highlights ✨ Looking Back 🔎 Finalize Budgets Budgets were finalized and approved. 📋 DLT Meeting – Tuesday The agenda included leadership work with the Association of Washington School Principals and a discussion about budgets. 🤝 Dual Credit Articulations Paula met with the Workforce Dean at SPSCC to explore additional course articulations that could help high school students earn more Dual Credit. 📅 Coming Up This Week 🔎 Budgets Chelsea will begin entering budget transfers in Qmaltive, with the goal of having everything approved by the Business Office next week. 🤝 Dual Credit Articulations Please sign your Teacher Verification forms and get them to Chelsea this week.
