🌟 CTE Weekly Highlights
✨ Looking Back
🔎 Qmaltive Data Clean-Up
While processing reports, we discovered some system errors that had us reporting incorrect data. All errors have been identified, and Chelsea has communicated with building registrars to ensure corrections are made.
🚀 Budget Prep
Our team completed the budget-to-FTE comparison work last week.
💻 E-Commerce Access
The Business Office should now have everyone’s e-commerce access set up. If your access isn’t working, please connect with Chelsea so she can check on the status.
🎓 Graduation Pathways Document
We finalized the 2025–26 Graduation Pathways document. Counselors will use this tool to help ensure students have access to a wide variety of graduation pathways. If you work in a high school, be prepared—counselors may reach out with questions about Dual Credit and/or Industry Credentials.
📅 Coming Up This Week
🔎 Finalize Budgets
We will audit and finalize budgets and begin the journal entries needed to load them into Skyward Q. We remain on track to have budgets assigned and loaded by the first week of October.
📋 DLT Meeting – Tuesday
Agenda items include leadership work with the Association of Washington School Principals and a discussion about budgets.
🤝 Dual Credit Articulations
Paula will be meeting with the Workforce Dean at SPSCC to explore additional course articulations that could help high school students earn more Dual Credit.
🏖️ CTE Office Coverage
Paula will be on vacation from Friday, 9/23, through Friday, 10/3, returning Monday, October 6. Chelsea will be available on her normal schedule during this time.
✅ Thank you to those who welcomed us into your spaces last week! It was wonderful to see so many of you already engaging in effective teaching and learning. Wishing you another great week in OSD!
