 Summer / Fall Professional Development Plans

Hello CTE - 

As we move into summer it is time to evaluate our need for CTE Professional Development.  The plans for the coming school year are:

  • Leadership Program of Work (Other Hours)

    • August 21, 2024, 9:00am - 12:00pm at OHS
      • We will review the Program of Work/Program of Activities document provided by OSPI.
      • Discuss why it is required by every CTE teacher, even if they are aligned with a CTSO.
      • Learn how best to complete the document
      • Share with peers how we are meeting the required standards outlined.
      • Be prepared to go back to school and guide students in completing the document.

  • CPR Training (Can use Self-directed or Supervisor-Directed Time)

  • Ongoing Annual Program Document Review and Completion 

    • West Side

      • OHS Room # TBD
      • Dates TBD, afternoons
      • 1/2 day subs will be provided

    • East Side

      • CHS Room # TBD
      • 1/2 day subs will be provided
      • The first event is October 3, additional dates and times to be added after we confer with Condee Wood
Once we finalize some of these TBD's I will send an email to everyone so they can make necessary plans.

  🌟 CTE Weekly Highlights 🌟 👋  With winter break now behind us, we’re moving quickly toward the close of Semester 1 and continuing the important work of ensuring our students are on track to pass courses, graduate, and grow into the incredible young people they are becoming.
