  ๐ŸŒŸ CTE Weekly Highlights ๐Ÿงญ Travel Request Reminder A quick reminder to please run all travel plans, including CTSO and Field Trips by the CTE Office, before submitting a Digital Travel Request and/or Field Trip Forms. This helps us ensure the trip is approved and added to our CTE Travel spreadsheet before it routes to the Assistant Superintendent. He uses that spreadsheet to verify approvals, and when something isn’t listed, it requires extra back-and-forth. ๐ŸŒŸ CTE Weekly Highlights ✨ Looking Back ๐Ÿ’ฌ National Career Cluster Alignment - The CTE met with OSPI and other stakeholders to identify how the National Career Cluster adoption will affect Washington state. ๐ŸŽ“ Dual Credit Expansion  – We began a conversation with the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges to discuss seamless Dual Credit for our students in how and when they transcribe CTE Dual Credits and SPSCC, Pierce College,s and beyond.  This is a discussion that we expect to lead to a proposal by the end of this school year.  ๐Ÿ“… Coming Up This Week ๐Ÿ’ฌ National Career Cluster Alignment – The CTE office will draft a one-page overview illustrating how the National Career Cluster framework connects to our local programs and pathways here in OSD. ๐Ÿค TILT Meeting – This week’s TILT session will focus on Restorative Practices and Districtwide Growth Goals , aligning our instructional efforts to support both academic and social-emotional growth. ...

Our office also supported program updates related to middle-level expansion and the coordination of outreach activities. The team continued Perkins grant work and checked in with our community college partners around Dual Credit and credential reporting.
