As the school year comes to a close, regular blogging will be paused while the incredible CTE teachers of the Olympia School District take a well-earned summer break ! 🌞✌️ We’ll return with updates, reminders, and new opportunities at the end of August . Hello CTE Team, I hope you all had a restful long weekend! That extra day on Friday created a welcome four-day weekend. I was fortunate to get to see some family, and the weather was just my kind of perfect. While most CTSO events have concluded, we’re still moving full speed ahead with field trips, student recognitions, and planning for the future. 🔹 Highlights from Last Week 🎨 Student Art Achievements:  A huge congratulations to several students from our Art programs who were honored at the Superintendent’s High School Art Show on May 14 . Their creativity and dedication were truly on display at this annual celebration! 🛠️ Trades Field Trip:  On May 16 , students in our Trades programs participated in Pierce County Construction Career Day at the Washington State Fairgrounds. This week, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the incredible work you do each day for your students and schools.
